Current

My current inspirations:

Jessica Szohr's amazing style. I so cannot wait to replicate the mini skirt/off the shoulder combo. So effortlessly sexy.

Sienna Miller's awesomely gorgeous hair. The last time I went to my stylist I said I wanted my hair that color. Although it's the lightest I've ever been, my color is close, but not quite. Now we call it "the Sienna."

Alexa Chung's green nail polish. Another thing I've always had an aversion to was having a well kept manicure. I've been convinced now that it isn't something I should neglect. I'm so in love with this color (along with the rest of the blogosphere).

Anyone else super pumped for Gossip Girl to start back up? I'm stoked about Hilary Duff being on the show.

TGIF

Sorry for the lame blogging lately. I have been doing a little work over here if you'd like to check it out. Just a little side blog about our building experience. I can't seem to get design out of my mind.

Happy Friday!
I'm currently fantasizing about sipping iced tea with my legs propped up and Vogue in hand.

Because I'm Still Obsessed

I swear I never used to be this indecisive. I'm still on my black ankle boots obsession and, well I have a bit of a conundrum.

I'm very, very in love with this pair from Anthropologie:

And I wouldn't mind shelling out the $178 because I feel they're rather timeless and we have a love connection.

But this Christian Siriano for Payless pair are pretty rockin' and the price is much, much more attractive for $49.99:

So what's a girl to do? Go for the super cute and really affordable pair or pay the extra money for her true loves?

Fall Needs: Part 4 of 4

When I originally started this Fall Needs series I knew there had to be at least 4 things I NEED for the fall, but the ankle booties I so desperately want will be taking up such a chunk of my budget I really can't think of anything else I have to have at this point.

So for the last part of my series I picked a few specific items that would be perfect for ushering in the fall:

J.Crew
A chambray button down. Perfect with shorts for the late summer and skinny cords for fall.

Current/Elliot
Moto inspired skinny jeans. I love the badass vibe and would love to sweeten them up with something ruffly or lacey.

Anthropologie, Free People

A fall jacket. Maybe the perfect cape I never found last fall or something military inspired.

So now that my series has wrapped up, please tell me what is on your list for the fall.

Fall Needs: Part 3 of 4

Alright, now back to the Fall Needs Series. If you missed parts 1 & 2 check them out here and here.

So for part 3, I still need to get my hands on the perfect pair of black booties. Something more classic than edgy and with a sturdy heel. I didn't think I was being that picky, but I just haven't found "the ones."

Here are the current contenders:

Moschino. Maybe a tad on the funky side which I'm trying to steer away from.

Juicy Couture. They'd be perfection if that ankle chain is removable. Two pairs in one!

Anthropologie. I'm really loving these!

Stuart Weitzman. Perfectly classy, but I'm not sure if I'm feeling the wedge heel.

Trip Recap

Here's a little bit about our most recent vacation. You see, husband and I are crazy Phillies fans (mostly husband, me by default), so for our anniversary this year we decided to follow the Phils out west.

First we went to Phoenix to see them play the Diamondbacks. We were only in Phoenix for a day and two nights. It was ridiculously hot and there wasn't much to do in the city, so we went to the zoo and fed giraffes before the game.

Then we went to the stadium early to try to get autographs. Husband got Charlie Manuel's (the coach) by telling him we were from Maryland and were here for our anniversary.
Of all the stadiums I've been to, this was one of my favorites. It helped that it was closed and air conditioned!

Then we stopped in Santa Barbara for a few days on our way to San Francisco. We didn't get many pictures here because we were too busy sleeping, bike cruising, and eating out at some really delicious restaurants!

And then we arrived in chilly San Francisco. I was completely unprepared for the weather there!

The stadium overlooked the bay which was really pretty. I also couldn't get over how nice everyone at the stadium was. The fans were friendly even though we were rooting for the other team and the staff was super attentive!
We spent two days sightseeing in San Francisco, but honestly I was really put off by the weather and the tourists. The rest of our pictures consist of players and stadiums, so this is about all I have to show! Our goal is to see the Phillies play at a different stadium each year. Next year we're off to Chicago!

Interruption

I'm interrupting my Fall Needs series because I need help. I know you're all dying to find out what my last two must-haves for fall are, but this is kind of urgent. OK, not at all. But I can't make a decision so I'm looking to all of the most fashionable people I have the pleasure of knowing (uh, reading).
Which dress should I get? For no function in particular, I just happen to adore them both and WILL make up a reason to wear either one.
WARNING: They're completely different ... I have style ADD or something.
T-Bags. Am I delirious with the itch to shop or is this really that awesome? Navy blue, beaded neckline and a sexy back. I'm worried that it's either too fancy for a casual outing or not formal enough for sayyy a wedding. What do you think?

Black Halo. Just simple, classic perfection. But is the color too loud for saayyyy an October wedding? Do you think it would look just as awesome with black tights and a blazer?
Which one???
**Update: Thanks for all of your input. I think I'm going to go for the first dress!

Fall Needs: Part 2 of 4

A plaid shirt, because I couldn't catch up with this bandwagon last fall.

I like the tunic style, that can be worn with leggings or skinnies:

Urban Outfitters, Forever 21

But I think the more tailored, classic shape might stick around in my closet longer. What do you think?

Abercrombie, because apparently it's my new favorite store..
